Today is an opportunity for trust.

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. These last days of the month we work with integrating and embodying trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation

Ode to Today

Today, today.
Today is everyday.
Today is all I know.
Today is when I grow.
Today I created from yesterdays’ todays.
Today I create tomorrows’ today.
Today is an opportunity.
Today I trust.
Today is.
I Am.

About Your Process
So, whad’ja gonna do today? Are you going to let today be an opportunity for trust? Are you going to make today be an opportunity for trust? Either approach works, if it is appropriate for you. If you are in a Receiving/Accepting mode, let the opportunities for trust come to you. If you are in an Acting/Claiming mode, create the opportunities for trust to occur.

About Our Next Theme (When Tomorrow is Today)
It is a new month: June. The theme is Joy. When I originally meditated on this theme in preparation for the daily writing, I heard the song “Joy to the World” ringing in my ears. This is not the version sung in Christian churches at Christmas time, but the delightful 3-Dog Night version, the one about “joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea, joy to you and me. Jooooy to the World.” During the first week, we work with Releasing/Cleansing Affirmations.

Make this an opportune day!

May 30, Positive Affirmation for Trust

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

I integrate trust into every aspect of my life.

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. These last days of the month we work with integrating and embodying trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Every means every. Every aspect of your life includes the places and things and people you think about as well as the obvious aspects, such as career, relationship, health, family, home. As you give your thoughts — your attention — to other people, places, things, and ideas, you include them in your life. So it is important that your thoughts be worthy of your attention.

About Your Process
Is there any little — or big — part of your life in which trust needs to be integrated? You may find that simply inviting trust to exist in this place is all that is needed. Perhaps you feel it is more complicated or that something else has to happen first. Can you trust yourself to let go of all the conditions and qualifiers and excuses and complaints and habits to just trust? I believe in you. I believe you can just trust, starting right now. Today. This minute. Instantly. At once. Immediately. Instantaneously. Unhesitantly. Tout de suite. Now.

May 29, Positive Affirmation for Trust

Yes to Trust!

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. These last days of the month we work with integrating and embodying trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Yes, this is a time of integrating trust. Yes, this is a time of embodying trust. In an article that is online at my Web site (”Strategies for the Highest Good“), I include the following as one of the strategies: “Know that the Universe has only one response: it is yes. When you say, “I hate that,” the Universe says “yes” by providing experiences of hatred because hatred has your attention. When you say “I love that,” the Universe responds with experiences of love because love has your attention. The beliefs and thoughts you hold have an energy that travels; that same energy travels back to you, magnified.”

About Your Process
To what do you desire to say “yes”? Is it trust? Is it deep trust? Is it trust in a particular thing or idea? Is it trust in yourself? Is it trust in the Universe? As you focus firmly on your vision of trust, be certain that you use this powerful concept expressed in this affirmation to produce the experiences you truly desire. Yes is a powerful fuel that activates conditions and experiences.

May 28, Positive Affirmation for Trust

Monday, May 28th, 2007

I act with purposeful awareness of trust.
I show up and speak my truth.

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. This fourth week of the month we work with acting and claiming trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
For most people, “truth” is likely to be on their list of top ten values. Yet, so often, people do not speak their truth. So often, they do not even show up! You can hold the idea of the importance of truth, yet sometimes find it difficult to act from that idea. You might have past associations of “telling the truth” as tattling or informing authorities about your siblings or peers. Or “telling the truth” may be associated with a punishment that followed the act of telling or not telling the truth. Trust and truth are closely related — you can be purposefully aware of both as you act.

About Your Process
Identify something that you have difficulty telling your truth about. This might be a very private exercise — no one has to know about it but you. Tell your truth to yourself and trust yourself to know when it is the appropriate time to show up and speak your truth to others involved. Be courageous and wise. Above all else, trust yourself.

About the Next Type of Affirmations
This is the last of the Acting/Claiming Affirmations this month. During the next three days, we focus on integrating and embodying trust and the affirmations that we have worked with throughout the month. This is a good day to re-visit your over-arching intention that I suggested you establish at the beginning of the month or, if you joined during the month, when you joined.

Make this a truthful day!

May 27, Positive Affirmation for Trust

Sunday, May 27th, 2007

I let every act be an act of trust.

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. This fourth week of the month we work with acting and claiming trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
The name you give something can greatly impact how you relate to that thing. Call it “fearsome” and you tend to be afraid. Call it “beautiful” and you tend to see beauty. Call it “trusting” and you tend to trust. Of course, the thing is more than the name you give it — you do not want to confuse yourself by thinking the thing and its name are synonymous. Today, allow all your actions to be named “trust” while at the same time, dip into the consciousness of trust. If every step is a step of trust, then your steps move you from trust to trust and away from non-trust and distrust.

About Your Process
If you have a specific action that today or tomorrow calls you to trust deeply, take a moment to be with that act in consciousness. That is, be with the idea of the action — both before and while acting. Touch the essence of the action, taste the feelings of the action. Let the act itself be an opportunity for trust to flow through you: be with the idea of trust, touch the essence of trust, and taste the feelings of trust. Act and trust. Trust and act.

May 26, Positive Affirmation for Trust

Saturday, May 26th, 2007

I draw a circle of trust to establish my world.

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. This fourth week of the month we work with acting and claiming trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Each time you intentionally draw a circle of trust or love or peace, you expand its light. This circle is more than a line drawn in the sand, although such a line can represent this circle for you. The circle of trust is, perhaps, more appropriately called a “sphere of trust” for it is multi-dimensional. Once established, its energy grows and grows. And, of course, if you construct your circle of non-trust, that grows and grows. So, be clear about your intention before you establish your circle.

About Your Process
Have you ever experienced broken trust? That is, you believed that you had a relationship with someone or with a group and then. . . well, something happened. It does not really matter the facts here, so try not to get hooked on who did what to whom, when, where and why. Just invite the situation or person(s) into your circle of trust. Or, if you prefer, draw a circle of trust around the person or persons and, of course, draw your own circle around yourself and/or your family and/or your business. Envision all circles of trust expanding.

May 25, Positive Affirmation for Trust

Friday, May 25th, 2007

I manifest all things in association with trust. Trust and I are One.

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. This fourth week of the month we work with acting and claiming trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
The idea of manifesting all your creations with trust is a powerful one. This affirmation helps you to minimize past manifestations that were created with non-trust; it can also create future experiences that are more trusting. All this month, the DailyAffirm affirmations have been acknowledging and honoring various relationships and associations with trust (and non-trust). The process has encouraged you to talk with trust, set intentions about trust, release non-trust, take trust with you, feel trust, sense trust, and experience trust as a friend. Today’s affirmation moves you from the idea of being separate from trust to being one with trust. Trust and I are One. Or, if you prefer, Trust and I is One.

About Your Process
At this time, you may feel as if you are walking through a wall in one or more parts of your life. (And if not, just appreciate that you are not walking through a wall and/or support others as they walk through a wall.) The wall may be made of stone or wood or brick or soot or anger or despair or rage or something else. This is the time to walk through the wall, knowing that you are not alone. You are One with Trust.

May 24, Positive Affirmation for Trust

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

I claim my trust. I claim my power.

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. This fourth week of the month we work with acting and claiming trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Claiming trust and claiming power are not exactly the same; however, they tend to run parallel to each other. Persons hesitant to trust themselves are also often hesitant to live in their power. The “power” I speak of is the true and lasting power that comes from within, not the artificial and temporary power in politics or organizations. The power I speak about is not “power over” another person or thing, but empowerment that supports you in being your authentic self. This is not the power that comes from fear; this is the power that comes from love and trust.

About Your Process
Identify one area in which you desire to be more powerful. You may choose to select a big area, such as your “whole life” or a more focused area, such as your job or a particular task you have responsibility to perform. The more precise and clear the vision, whether comprehensive or narrow, the more likely you are to see your desired results — maybe even instantly! Let your vision of trust guide you to be in your power, trusting yourself.

May 23, Positive Affirmation for Trust

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

I act with trust in my heart.
I speak with trust on my lips. I walk with trust in my feet.

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. This fourth week of the month we work with acting and claiming trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Trusting in your head is only a starting place. All manifestations on the earth plane start with an idea, a thought. This idea, however, must move out of your head in order to be manifested. Many people have beautiful ideas in their heads — pictures and dreams of peace and harmony, with no clue how to manifest the ideas into physical reality. Creation happens through movement of thoughts. Living in your head or in isolation does not test your trust; movement tests your trust. Thoughts propel your movement: feelings tell you the extent to which your intention and your movement are in alignment.

About Your Process
Identify an act you might take today that is a demonstration of your trust. It need not be a profound act (although profound is fine!). Perhaps your act of trust is speaking up in a situation in which you have considered yourself to be powerless. Perhaps your act of trust is making a decision that has been hovering over you for a long time. Perhaps your act of trust is exploring a deep issue you have been hesitant to look at. Perhaps your act of trust is taking a step in a different direction. In order to experience trust, you must put it out to the universe. You must give it away.

May 22, Positive Affirmation for Trust

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

Trust energizes my actions and propels me on
the path to transformation.

Greetings! Our theme is Trust. This fourth week of the month we work with acting and claiming trust at DailyAffirm. Here are comments about today’s affirmation, suggestions for your process, and information about related articles.

About Today’s Affirmation
Wow! You have propelled yourself along your path by trust, the best kind of gas/petrol! (And the price does not go up at the pump.) Get energized with Spirit, with trust, with truth. Life is a process. A popular phrase is “trust the process” — in fact, that has been a popular phrase in all the years that I have been actively involved in personal and organizational development. When you feel non-trusting, that is the time you must remind yourself to trust the process. As you trust, you are propelled further. And you often inspire others to trust more, which inspires you even further. And so continues the process.

About Your Process
Today is a great day to ponder what it means to be on a path to transformation. As you know, these affirmations are based on a book which uses the title, Affirmations: A Pathway to Transformation. I carefully call the affirmations “A” pathway to transformation, not “The” pathway to transformation. Many paths and pathways can lead you to transformation, to transformations of many types.
